A BETTER SOURCE OF STRENGTH
What is the source of your
strength when you face temptation or trials in life?Do you draw from your inner self?Do you depend on physical workouts?Do you depend on friends and family?How often do these sources let you down?There are times in life when words are of
little help no matter how respected the person who speaks them.When people face the loss of a loved one, the
loss of a job,financial stress, etc. it
is far too easy to get caught up in the emotions of the moment.The good thing is that there is someone who
understands and there is one source that never fails God's children.This source is described very plainly in
Psalm 46:1 "God is our refuge and
strength, a very present help in trouble."(NKJ). God has told us to cast our burdens and cares upon Him and
He will carry them for us. Give Him the opportunity to lift your spirits and
relieve your cares.
